Our clients and guests can trust we offer empowering and thoughtful classes that are of the highest quality in a safe environment. All teachers are trained, certified, and insured. Many are trauma informed and offer therapeutic options in a range of levels and styles, so you can craft the practice that's just right for you.

  • bethany grabe, begin again yoga

    Founder, Studio Operations, Founding Member

    Bethany is the Founder of The Haven Indianola and is responsible for Studio Operations. Bethany also owns Begin Again Yoga, a practice built on breaking down the basics of yoga for a therapeutic approach through both mindful movement and breath. The journey has brought her to share her discoveries and experiences as an advanced yoga teacher and 500-RYT specializing in integrative yoga and SomaYoga, blending traditional yoga methods and Somatics. Her mission in life is to help people feel good and embodied.

    She adores spending time with her two young boys and husband, and has enjoyed becoming part of the Indianola community since moving here in 2020.

  • haylee skow, flow space yoga

    Co-Founder, Event Operations, Founding Member

    Haylee is owner of Flow Space Yoga and Co-Founder over Events Operations at The Haven Indianola. She is passionate about being of service and helping clients find clarity and intention on and off the mat. Haylee is an Experienced RYT- 200 Instructor and a YACEP (Yoga Education Provider) with additional certifications in Trauma Informed Approach & Restorative Yoga. The Flow Space Yoga brand is a representation of what you’ll find when you practice with Haylee, an opportunity to let go of expectations, judgement, and criticism and open yourself up to all that you are and all that you have to offer. Through her teaching and positive affirmations/mantras you will always be encouraged to find the flow space in life. Outside of yoga, Haylee is a stay-at-home mom and wife, wedding coordinator, pizza slinger, adventurist, and lover of all things dogs, books, and the outdoors!

  • tricia ingram williams

    Founding Member

    Tricia received her 200-hour yoga certification through Yoga Renew in May of 2025 and owns As You Are Yoga. Although new to teaching, Tricia has been practicing yoga for over 13 years. Currently pursuing her Masters in Social Work, Tricia believes yoga is one of the most powerful tools in reconnecting our mind and body and facilitating deep healing. Tricia particularly enjoys teaching breath-to-movement vinyasa flows and always applies a body-positive, trauma-informed lens.

  • mallorie sheldahl, m.theorie wellness

    Founding Member

    Mallorie is a 200-RYT yoga teacher, wellness coach, and the founder of m.theorie wellness, where she supports women to feel strong, centered, and confident as they build a lifestyle that supports their well-being from the inside out. She blends breath-led flow with intentional strength work to support both body and mind. Rooted in presence and alignment, Mallorie's teaching invites you to tune in, move with integrity, and trust your body. Her classes offer a warm, encouraging space to connect with yourself and recharge, so you leave feeling energized, clear, and deeply grounded.

  • joyce nehring, yoga joy

    Founding Member

    Joyce of Yoga Joy is a 200-HR registered yoga teacher with a therapeutically oriented credential, trained at Balance Breath School of Yoga. Joyce teaches a mixed-level vinyasa practice, with a slower, more mindful flow. She strives to create an environment where students feel safe to explore their practice within their own limits.

  • kristin "kp" bailey, barre social

    Founding Member

    Born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, KP is a Southern girl at heart. She graduated from OLOL College with her degree in Physical Therapy Assisting and has been a cheer/gymnastics coach for two decades. KP began teaching Barre and became NETA certified in 2015 when she moved to Iowa. She has fallen in love with Indianola and is excited to bring Barre Social to our community. KP is married to her husband, Cody, and together they have three boys: Bryce, Beau and Cade.

    Founding Member

    Jacki Ballou is a licensed social worker that has a love for dance! She was heavily involved in dance in high school and continued to get training in Zumba. She knows how good dance is for you physically, but also for your mental health. She is a millennial through and through, so you will see that in her playlist when you come to class.

  • haley nehring

    haley nehring

    Haley Nehring (she/her, RYT-200) is a yoga teacher who came to the practice in 2019 to find steadiness and clarity in the middle of a demanding career in continuous improvement and information security. Over the years, yoga shifted from something she did to unwind into something that helped her reconnect with herself, build resilience, and feel more at home in her body. Haley teaches with an emphasis on strength, breath, and functional movement. Outside the studio, Haley loves spending time outdoors with her family, diving into wellness and personal development, and a variety of hobbies.

are you a wellness small business owner and interested in becoming a member?

We strive to keep safety and inclusivity for our guests top-of-mind at The Haven Indianola. The following criteria has been developed and approved by our serving Founding Members for those both interested in both joining our collective as a teacher and utilizing our space as a guest practitioner.  

If you meet the following criteria, please submit your application through the following form and allow at least five business days for an initial review.

  • Minimum 200-HR training certification from a Yoga Alliance accredited institution

    Registered with the Yoga Alliance, managing hours and submitting to Alliance, maintaining required CE credits

    Trauma-informed training or relevant experience is preferred but not required

  • Certification from an accredited institution or program, or minimum 3 years of timely, consistent, and relevant experience guiding group sessions

    Complementary industry expertise is preferred if no certification. Examples may be social work, counseling, energy work, mental health therapist, physical therapist, personal trainer, wellness/life coach, etc. 

  • Liability insurance

    CPR certification desired but not required 

    Collective-minded, team player, release feelings of competition

    Ready to promote everyone's classes as complementary to your own, especially collective applicants
